H2O Audio unveils waterproof Surge 2G headphones with approval of Michael Phelps

Today must be the day to launch sweat proof headphones. But H2O Audio's waterproof and sweat proof Surge 2G headphones can go beyond the halls of the gym and into the pool.

The Surge 2G series comes with the promise of being 100% waterproof. The latest H2O Audio headphones are also designed with “sheared” edging for better comfort and a sleeker profile.

They must work to some extent given that they come with the endorsement of Olympic gold medalist Michael Phelps, who knows a thing or two about swimming. But will these replace the typical white earbuds we saw him wearing so often before races at the 2008 Olympics?
