The TouchPad shown by HP was a solid performer, and the webOS platform looked like a perfect fit for a tablet. The interface impressed those in attendance at the press event last month, and looked like the TouchPad could be picked up and used immediately. The unique interaction with the Pre 3 as demonstrated is particularly useful.
Let's hope this rumor about the pricing for a 16GB WiFi model of the TouchPad is accurate. While I prefer smaller tablets for portability, the 10-inch TouchPad looked awfully darn good. That June release is a long way away, as is the rumored September launch of the 7-inch webOS tablet. If you are as anxious to see the TouchPad released as I am, have a look at the two videos I captured in February that give a good look at webOS on the tablet.
