Hyundai Corp & Korea Telecom to jointly advance into e-commerce

Seoul, Feb 21 (Asia Pulse) - Hyundai Corp. said Monday that it has formed ties with Korea Telecom to jointly advance into B to B (business to business) e-commerce.

Hyundai will supply know-how on international trading, global network and experts while Korea Telecom will supply expertise, infrastructure and experts in the Internet field. The two companies will soon establish a separate corporation for maintenance, repair and operating (MRO) first that allows companies to trade products on line.

The companies, who are planning to expand business step by step and make tie-up with foreign firms to advance abroad, will also examine participation of other domestic firms like general trading companies to make an international B to B e-commerce site.
