I give - back to IE6 for now

I tried. Really. But I've been unable to uncover the cause of the intermittent crashes in FeedDemon that started immediately after installing IE7 RC1. So I've uninstalled the release candidate and gone back to the great RSS experience I've come to rely on with FeedDemon.

I tried. Really. But I've been unable to uncover the cause of the intermittent crashes in FeedDemon that started immediately after installing IE7 RC1. So I've uninstalled the release candidate and gone back to the great RSS experience I've come to rely on with FeedDemon. Turning off third-party add-ins did not fix the problem. Neither did killing off a bunch of applications I usually have running. I had a number of e-mail exchanges with Nick Bradbury (the head FeedDemon) and we both agreed that it was not an issue in FeedDemon itself due to the ways the errors were being trapped and logged.

I need FeedDemon too much and IE7's new stuff too little to muck about with this any longer right now. I'll give it a go with the next release and see if things turn out any differently. It's clear IE7 works fine for many folks in combination with FeedDemon so I know it's some voodoo going on in my system. Troubleshooting stuff like this is royal pain and, while I usually enjoy the challenge of puzzling my through an issue like this, I just haven't got time right now.
