Infographic: Businesses are turning to the hybrid cloud to avoid hardware costs
68% of respondents to the latest Tech Pro Research survey are either using or considering the hybrid cloud. The number one reason: to cut down on hardware costs while still extending the data center.

In the latest Tech Pro Research survey, only one percent of respondents predicted they wouldn't be using the cloud at all in the next five years. 69% predicted that more than half of their applications and systems would be cloud-based.
Among respondents already using the hybrid cloud approach, Microsoft was the number one public cloud provider, followed by Amazon and Google. Microsoft was the top choice for the private cloud side too, followed by VMWare, with OpenStack in distant third.
