Intel to release MMX OverDrives
Intel will release its first MMX OverDrive processor upgrades in the first week of March.
Sources close to the company said the chip giant will announce devices that upgrade 75, 90 and 100MHz vanilla Pentiums to double the clock speed and add the MMX instruction set that speeds multimedia performance.
Intel declined to comment.
