Interwoven released new version content management software

Interwoven relases 4.5 version of its content management software with feature to allow contributor access from MS Office.

Singapore- Interwoven, Inc. announced the release of version 4.5 of its suite of content management software TeamSite, TeamSite Templating and OpenDeploy.

Enhanced functionality includes extension into Microsoft Office 2000 and Windows Explorer for contributor access, a new workflow manager and an extended XML support.

TeamSite Front-Office, a feature of the new version extends a set of predefined TeamSite publishing menus, including the ability to submit content into MS Office and Explorer; this functionality empowers all users to contribute content from their favourite desktop authoring tool - without any training.

Workflow Builder allows system managers to create custom workflow designs using simple drag-and-drop method. Development process can be streamlined and managers can ensure the flow of content throughout the organization without relying on IT or the Web team.

Finally, a Templating feature provides the integrated XML publishing solution, allowing users to capture, store and share content based on any standard XML DTD. With this, an enterprise can deliver content to any wireless device, B2B exchange or in any number of formats or XML flavours.
