iPhone 2.2 update is out
Good news everyone (or for iPhone owners at least). Apple has released software update 2.2 for the iPhone.

Good news everyone (or for iPhone owners at least). Apple has released software update 2.2 for the iPhone.
Here are some of the highlights:
- Performance and stability improvements for Safari
- Google Maps now have Street View, show walking/public transport directions, and allow an address of a pin to be displayed
- Fewer dropped calls
- Email fetching bug fix
- Wide-format HTML email support
- Download podcasts over WiFi
- Keyboard auto-correct can now be turned off
Things that are still MIA:
- Cut and paste
- MMS
- Flash support
- Voice dialing
- Turn-by-turn GPS
Jailbreakers might want to hold out from installing this update.
Update 2.2 is also available for iPod touch users.
