Is this the Treo 800p?

There have been rumors of new Palm devices leaking out for a few months and PalmInfocenter looks to have obtained the first spy shots of the Palm Gandalf (aka Treo 800p) taken with a low quality cameraphone. This device looks to offer a significantly altered Treo design with lots of curves and rather small looking keyboard. Rumors have different models running both Windows Mobile and the Palm OS. IMHO, the device doesn't look that enticing to me and reminds me of the simple Palm Zire device. It is going to be tough for manufacturers to compete in the mobile market with tiny keyboards and small square displays after people have had a chance to play with an Apple iPhone. I look forward to products coming out in 2008 when other manufacturers should have had time to design some compelling alternatives rather than updates to existing models.
