Are Amazon, Netflix, Columbia House shipping thousands of DVDs to Iowans?

Perhaps. The DVD retailers and renters, however, are facing competition this week, not-for-profit DVD competition, from the John Edwards presidential campaign.

Iowa Democrats (about 70,000) who have attended the state's first-in-the-nation caucuses are being introduced to the John Edwards health care plan by DVD.

Jennifer O'Malley, Iowa director for the Edwards campaign, as cited by "The Des Moines Register":

We feel Iowa caucus goers are very sophisticated and engaged voters. We feel they really want specific details and they're looking for a leader focused on ideas.

The DVD features people talking about their health care concerns, Edwards discussing their worries and what his health care position is.
"If you're a farmer, it's almost impossible for a farmer to pay for health care," Edwards tells Iowans in the DVD.

Not an Iowan Democrat farmer? No worry, John Edwards greatest health care hits on DVD is now showing (authorized) at the John Edwards YouTube Channel!
