in brief Telstra's Kaz services unit has won a three-year, AU$6 million deal to provide asset divestment and ICT infrastructure management services to the largest Western Australian-based super fund.

In a statement issued this morning, Kaz said the contract would encompass supply of a raft of services to the GESB (Government Employees Superannuation Board), including transfer of ownership of the fund's technology asset base, including servers, desktops, storage and data-communications hardware.

Other services included infrastructure and capacity consolidation and provisioning and facilities management such as disaster recovery and services hosting. The deal -- which takes full effect from the end of June following a three-month transition period - replaces an existing facilities management contract.
