Kindle for Android gets a store and periodical support

Amazon continues to improve their Kindle clients and today we see that Android owners get a nice update with a Kindle store and support for newspapers and magazines.

I like reading ebooks on my devices and I just saw that a new version of the Kindle app appeared on my Samsung Galaxy Tab. As you can see on the Amazon site the new version adds an integrated store (used to take you to the web browser) and support for newspapers and magazines.

Another new feature that you may find helpful is the ability to double tap on an image to zoom in. This is nice for technical books with diagrams, screenshots, and pictures. The Amazon site states that you can also share your book reading progress, but I could not find this anywhere in the application so maybe this is something coming in the next update.
