Your call is in a queue...

A state of the art call centre in Liverpool is claiming to be the first to open without any telephones. The agents use headsets connected to their PCs which route the calls over the internet. The technology should mean big savings on costs. The £5m centre will employ 700 people, according to the Financial Times. It is using the old Bryant & May match factory in Speke-Garston. The centre will deal with calls from 11 countries. Call centre specialist 7c is using Cisco VoIP equipment in the centre.
