Logitech Speaker Lapdesk N550 wants to save your skin

There's been a lot of talk lately about the dangers of laptop heat on your skin. Conveniently, Logitech has unveiled its Speaker Lapdesk N550 to save your thighs.

Powered by a single USB cable plugged into your laptop or netbook from the Lapdesk, the N550 features a quadruple-layer design with a soft, air-mesh fabric to protect your skin from overheating.

The Lapdesk N550 also sports integrated stereo speakers on each side that will hopefully enhance whatever tunes are pumping out of your portable computer. No drivers or software installation is required, thankfully.

The LogitechSpeaker Lapdesk N550 is expected to begin rolling out this month in the United States for $59.99, followed by another launch at the beginning of 2011 in the United Kingdom for £49.99.
