Logitech has announced the Keys-To-Go keyboard for the iPad. The unique keyboard will work with any model of iPad given its design without a case.
The Keys-To-Go is thin and light, making it easy to throw in a bag for those times when a keyboard might come in handy. It is made out of fabric, which Logitech calls FabricSkin, and is water and dust-repellent.
Dimensions: 242 x 137 x 6 mm; 9.5 x 5.4 x 0.23 in
Weight: 180g; 6.3 oz
Key features of the Keys-To-Go:
The design of the Keys-To-Go makes it easy to throw in a slim pocket on most bags without effort. This lets you have a keyboard when needed without a bulkier case. The one-piece construction is like those on some keyboards such as the Touch Cover for the Microsoft Surface.
Designed for the iPad, this keyboard should work with the iPhone. The large display of the iPhone 6 Plus coupled with the Keys-To-Go would be a highly portable writing system.
While designed for the iPad, many similar keyboards will work with Android devices. We can't know for sure if that's the case with this one until we get one in hand to test.
The Logitech Keys-To-Go is priced at $69.99 and should be available in November 2014.
In other news, Logitech has informed ZDNet that it will update its line of keyboard cases for the iPad Air 2, including the Logitech Ultrathin and Type+. Both will be available in November 2014, the Ultrathin for $89.99 and the Type+ for $99.99.
