The upcoming MacTech Boot Camp, a seminar targeting Mac SMB consultants in San Francisco at the end of this month, extended its pre-registration pricing until Tuesday. The seminar will be concurrently with the first day of the Macworld Expo.
Following a DOS attack on MacTech's DNS service provider, the registration forms were unavailable mid-week, according to Neil Ticktin, MacTech Publisher. This pre-registration can shave $100 off of the $495 ticket.
The sessions cover Mac deployment issues; hardware, software and networking troubleshooting; iOS integration; Windows solutions; and SMB backup strategies, as well as several sessions on consulting practices.
If you're considering becoming a Mac consultant, this seminar might be useful to you.
Now, if you are looking upmarket to Macs in the enterprise, then I suggest talking to the folks at the Enterprise Desktop Alliance. This group is dedicated to the deployment and management of Macs in Windows environments and will have a booth in the Expo hall.
