Security flaws list laughs in the face of Microsoft's trustworthy computing...

Microsoft's trustworthy computing initiative got off to a rather inauspicious start yesterday when it emerged someone had taken the domain to compile a list of Microsoft's recent security gaffes. Visitors to www.trustworthycomputing.com are taken to a real-life Google search results page with links to news articles about Microsoft security flaws. The page itself lists 100 links out of a total of 410,000 results. Microsoft's trustworthy computing initiative has been taking shape in recent weeks with the Redmond software giant becoming increasingly concerned with its poor reputation for IT security. Gates was quoted apologising for the "incredible pain" the blunders had inflicted upon users, as it announced a one month hiatus on new code development to allow time to be spent fixing holes.
