Mophie adds color, battery life to iPhone 4 with Juice Pack Plus
Mophie is known for pumping out juice pack cases that pump the life back into iPhones. Say hello to the latest addition: the Juice Pack Plus for the iPhone 4.
Sporting a 2,000 mAh battery, which is reportedly "the largest of any juice pack case produced to date," the Juice Pack Plus promises the following stats:
- Up to 8 additional hours talk time on 3G; 16 hours on 2G
- Up to 7 additional hours internet use on 3G; 11 hours on Wi-Fi
- Up to 44 hours additional audio playback
- Up to 11 hours video playback
Users can charge up and sync the iPhone with iTunes via USB. Battery pack cases tend to add more weight and thickness to smartphones when compared to the average case, but the Juice Pack Plus only adds about 1mm. Furthermore, it has been designed to double as a small speaker box as it redirects sound from the built-in speaker at the bottom of the iPhone 4 towards the front.
Available now in black with a a trio of '80s-friendly shades (what looks to be neon yellow, hot pink and teal) waiting in the wings, the Mophie Juice Pack Plus accessories are available now for $99.95 a pop.
