Mozilla ready to release Firefox 3 beta 3

According to Mozilla's Firefox 3 beta 3 wiki the latest browser build is set for lift off later Tuesday.

Paula Rooney had reported last week that the third beta of Firefox 3 was on target for this week and Mozilla later noted that it was aiming to release the third beta Feb. 12.

Judging from Mozilla's latest release notes QA tests have been completed (here's the Firefox 3 schedule).

Now it's just a matter of pushing this pup out to the public.

I have more than a passing interest since my Firefox 2 has been killing me of late with performance issues--must be the dozens of tabs, streaming stock quote windows and Sirius web player. And given that Adrian Kingsley-Hughes gave the second Firefox 3 beta such high marks I'm ready to make a switch for good.
