Every time I see a headline that contains the words "MDeC" and "content", I just roll my eyes because it can only mean two things: games and animation.

MDeC (Multimedia Development Corp) is the government agency tasked to promote the Multimedia Super Corridor.

I've communicated with MDeC's content czar Kamil Othman many times about their narrow definition of content, and although he insists each time that the definition is broader than games and animation, all their initiatives seem to focus on these two areas only.

Case in point: MDeC boosting creative content growth. Yes, it's about animation (what else could it be... oh, yeah, I nearly forgot: games!)
