NEC wins $27m WA Health contract
NEC Australia has won a $27 million eight-year contract with Western Australia's Department of Health for the supply, installation, commissioning and maintenance of internet protocol-capable PBX telephone systems.

The contract was awarded 30 April, almost a year after the tender closed on 8 May last year.
According to the Western Australia tender website, there were eight submissions to the tender.
Around this time last year, NEC cut 153 staff from its Australian operation.
