Net Applications data for July 08 released - Good month for Mozilla, not so good for Apple

Net Applications has released the data for July 08, and there are some interested trends worth noting.

• 

  The Firefox 3.0 market share is up to 5.65%, up from 2.31% for the previous month.
• Cumulative market share for Firefox 2.0 and 3.0 stands at 18.69%.
• Intel Mac share drops slightly to 5.24%. I think that many tech trend watchers out there were expecting this share to increase to around 5.5-5.75%.
• iPhone market share is up to 0.19%, up from 0.16% the previous month.
• Peak iPhone market share for July was on 07/26 when it hit 0.3%.
• Linux gains an extra 0.02% market share, hitting 0.82%.

I'm sure that this data is open to being interpreted, reinterpreted, disputed, discredited and dismissed.
