HONG KONG, 1 June 2000 - Unisys, a global electronic business solutions provider, will provide the clients of e-business service provider (eSP) NetCel360 Limited, with a wide range of field services that will include break/fix, warranty, service reporting, upgrade and new service installation.
NetCel360 provides its clients with e-business services from consulting and Web services to customer contact
services, financial services, logistics and after sales support.
With access to over 400 of Unisys' field engineers across their network including 15 markets across Asia, NetCel360
clients can also avoid the substantial human resource and administrative costs associated with establishing and
sustaining an in-house regional field services team, therefore achieving significant time-to-market advantages.
Founder and chairman of NetCel360, Phil Kelly, said, "As the Asian e-business marketplace grows and becomes
more competitive, companies are seeking to expand quickly throughout the region and are looking to e-business service
providers like NetCel360 as the vehicle to gain speed to market and develop a competitive edge."
President of Unisys Asia North, John Wen, said: "With the combined strengths of both companies, we offer
our clients a powerful and cost-effective way to conduct regional Internet and e-Business services."
NetCel360 and Unisys will work together to allow multinational corporations (MNCs), Internet companies and Asian
enterprises to accelerate their online business plans across multiple markets quickly and effectively, and in doing
so free them from significant investment in establishing their own field services team.
