Remember those photos of the MSI WindPad 100 that were released in August? Now some new renderings have surfaced, and the design looks quite different.

Published by Blogeee.net, the new images reveal two different exteriors: one with a chrome and rounded bezel, and then another that is plastic with a curved edge.

Electronista ponders whether or not this means anything in differentiating between Android and Windows 7 operating systems on the tablets...if these images are even authentic.

The internal specs already announced for this 10.1-inch touch screen slate should stay the same. That includes the Intel Atom Z530 processor, 2GB of RAM, a 32GB solid state drive, HDMI, dual USB ports, VGA and Ethernet.

Pricing and a release date are still mysteries, although the WIndPad is expected to arrive late this year or early next.
