New Zune incoming?

Blogger Long Zheng has been digging through the latest Zune software package 2.5 to be released a few hours ago and found an image in the resource files which suggests that a new Zune might be incoming.

Embedded in the resource files is an interesting image of a new red “Scorpius” (4/8GB) Zune. Instead of the model available today with a silver backing and red touchpad, this had a black backing and black touchpad.

The last black touchpad Zune was a commemorative model made available exclusive to Zune staff, so this one might be the real thing. Maybe this will bring a 16GB Zune to the masses?

Maybe it's me, but I just can't get excited over the Zune.
