News Burst: iMac doubles Apple's PC share
Apple Computer Inc.'s iMac was the No. 1 selling desktop computer through the retail and mail-order markets in November, helping to double the company's market share in the past three months.

According to PC Data's November Retail Hardware Report, 7.1 percent of all desktop computers sold were iMacs, and the machine accounted for 8.2 percent of total sales in dollars.
