News Burst: Porn ruling sets UK precedent
A British judge has ruled that pornography published on U.S. Web sites can fall under UK jurisdiction -- a landmark ruling in the fight against porn on the Web.

Businessman Graham Waddon appeared at Southwark Crown Court this week charged with running the U.K.'s largest porn operation. Waddon set up a series of hard pornography sites in the U.S. and charged UK customers £25 a month for access.
Judge Christopher Hardy rejected defence claims that the material fell outside British jurisdiction -- servers were based in America -- because the files were uploaded in the UK.
The case continues tomorrow.
