in brief Nokia Siemens Networks (NSN) has appointed a new local head, Kalevi Kostiainen.
Finnish-born Kostiainen will replace Paul Tyler on 1 October. Tyler will move to a new role within NSN, heading up its Asia-Pacific sales group. Prior to this role Kostiaienen headed up NSN's APAC converged core networks unit.
NSN's global chief, Australian Simon Beresford-Wylie, earlier this month announced his intention to leave the company by November.
