Microsoft's rich media player arrives for Nokia's 5800, N97 and N97 mini phones, ahead of Silverlight appearing on any Microsoft-based phones.

It's pretty amusing that Nokia has moved to support Microsoft's rival to Flash, Silverlight, on its mobile devices before Microsoft even has. I wonder if this is a compromise Nokia has made between not using the resource-hog Adobe Flash, and not giving in to Apple's push to make HTML5 the standard.
