It's a CRT for less than £200
Ignoring the recent trend for whopping flat screen monitors Panasonic's latest model is a 15-inch CRT display. The S50i is based on the S50, with a few tweaks for better performance.
The screen uses an RGB Medium Short phosphor surface, with an anti-glare/anti-static coating. In other words your eyes should ache less after staring at it all night. It can handle resolutions of up to 1280x1024 and plug-and-play should make installation a cinch. Screen rotation is controlled from the front panel and a range of buttons control screen size. Not very exciting all in all, but can you ever really get worked up about a monitor?
Available now for a reasonable £132 exc VAT.
