Gimme that book I wanna look something up...

Well, it's not a book, but if you ever bump into one of those nasty technophobic grannies who says CDs and the Internet are the work of the Devil, just show her this disc and tell her Bill didn't do it!

Britannica has built a reputation on providing some of the best learning tools money can buy and has done so well I can't remember when I last saw a salesman touting its wares in the local Arndale Centre...This CD contains the lot. There are more than 45 million words on this disc covering everything from World War 1 to the Aids epidemic. Couple that with a very cool Analyst Function - lets you query, for example, the different life expectancy between Rwanda and America - and what you've got is a very whizbang piece of software.

There are two versions: the CD 99 Standard Edition -- £49 (reduced from £99) and the CD 99 Multimedia Edition -- £89 (reduced from £125)

Heard a rumour about a plan for a new gadget or software? Seen a device on your travels you'd like to know more about? Tell Nuggets and we'll get you the facts.
