OCZ Technology has quietly debuted the 3.5-inch Colossus LT SATA II solid state drive series. Dubbed as the "lite" edition with 34nm flash memory, the Colossus LT series totes some familiar read/write speeds and is available in a few different large capacity options.

The Colossus LT SSDs is almost identical to the predecessor, the Colossus series, with few exceptions - most notably the flash memory.  The LT series drives are packaged within lightweight aluminum casing, host 128MB of onboard cache, have read and write speeds of up to 260 MB/s.

Available in 120GB, 250GB, 500GB, and 1TB capacities, the new OCZ SSD collection has some hefty prices (yet similar to the previous line as well) - despite having almost the same spec list but cheaper memory than the original editions. Nevertheless, prices start at roughly $450 for the 120GB model and go all the way up to nearly $4,000 for the 1TB.

All of the Colossus LT drives also come with a three-year warranty.
