Off to DEMOfall 2006
i'm heading out to San Diego in the morning to attend the DEMOfall 2006 event. This will be my second DEMO event and the lineup of companies looks very intriguing this time around.

I was tickled to see the picture used under the heading "Who attends DEMO?" on this page (and now here in this post). That's me at the DEMO@15 event two years ago in Scottsdale sitting with Patrick McGovern, Chairman of the Board of IDG - the company that puts on this and other leading industry events. I had the good luck to sit next to him for one of the sessions and, as I recall, I gave him a Tablet PC demo (couldn't help myself) and had a very engaging conversation with him about the state of the tech industry.
DEMO events are also a great chance to see some blog buddies. A few I know will be there are: Buzz Bruggeman, Oliver Starr, Dan Farber and Renee Blodgett. I'll post some impressions from the event - WiFi gods willing.
