OK, so the meeting wasn't so bad

Just a quick note on my first administrator's meeting: it wasn't too bad. I had a couple things going for me. We haven't had anyone looking at technology from a global level in a long time; we also have more money being dumped into technology than we have in years now that the school committee knows there is someone around with a clue about how to spend it.

We'll see how long the honeymoon lasts (and how much I actually miss teaching when the kids come back next week), but for now, life is good, even if I do have to go to meetings.
