On the road again - to the Host and Cloud Transformation Summit

I'm on my way to Las Vegas to attend The Host and Cloud Transformation Summit, an event being put on by another business unit of The 451 Group, my employer. Although the agenda appears packed with presentations about hosting, collocation services and cloud computing, I'm really looking forward to facilitating a panel discussion about overcoming the barriers to adopting cloud computing.

Even though small to medium size organizations as well as local and regional goverments are jumping on the bandwagon rapidly, large organizations still express concerns about security, the ability to comply with regulations and their ability to manage their overall IT infrastructure when part of it is hosted in a pay-per-use facility.  It is going to be fun to be able to ask suppliers what they're doing to address these issues.
