OnTheRun with Tablet PCs #36 is now online

James Kendrick and I are back with show #36 and shout-outs are in order all around with the shipping of my book The Unofficial Guide to Outlook 2007, which James calls a must read for all Outlook users (modesty prevents me from saying anything like that myself).

James Kendrick and I are back with show #36 and shout-outs are in order all around with the shipping of my book The Unofficial Guide to Outlook 2007, which James calls a must read for all Outlook users (modesty prevents me from saying anything like that myself). The shout-outs continue with this show dedicated to the newest Tablet PC MVP, Kevin Tofel! This is recognition that is both well deserved and long overdue. Next up on the shout-out list is Josh Einstein who has released the OneNote Calendar utility – a must-have for all OneNote users. Next, we spend some time discussing the Asus R2H, one of the most capable UMPCs out there, which both of us are putting through its paces. Another shout-out goes to Warner Crocker for his relentless Vistamization of his Asus UMPC.  I relate my experience on the road with the Lenovo ThinkPad x60t convertible tablet and explain why I think this device represents a perfect balance between power and portability. The shout-outs continue as we congratulate Michael Scherrotter, formerly of Mindjet, who recently joined Microsoft. JK is hotly awaiting the availability of the new Motion LE1700 slate Tablet PC and discusses why he's so excited to evaluate this new slate Tablet (hint: Core 2 Duo). In a rare display of distractedness, JK forgets which podcast he's doing for a split-second; can you find it?

Enjoy the show!

Special thanks to Tiedye Keith for the great song "Vulnerable" with vocals by Tony Lindsay of Santana.
