OnTheRun with Tablet PCs show #24

James and I are back after a hiatus with another podcast. This week, we talk about how our changing work realities are affecting our choices about how we use the Tablet and other mobile devices, discuss the latest rumors about Dell entering the UMPC market, and James threatens a household pet.

James Kendrick and I are back after a hiatus with show #24! On this show there's a podcast first as James euthanizes a dog on the air (just kidding).  We discuss my new gig with Foldera and how my mobile computing needs might change with the new project.  The slate versus convertible versus UMPC question comes up and I explain my thoughts about what I might be looking for soon. If you are a regular listener you might be surprised.  James might be looking for a new slate and likes the Electrovaya Scribbler 3100, not a UMPC.  We both take a poke at the junkware that comes with downloadable software.  Dell provides an option on their online store to pay extra to get a new device with no junkware pre-installed, which is important as Dell is rumored to be working on a UMPC.

Enjoy the show!
