VoIP service provider Packet 8 introduced several new calling features today.

These include:

Voicemail to Email Notification - Receipt of an email each time a voice mail message is left. The email can be forwarded t another email addy.
Find Me, Follow Me - Acombined hunting/multi-ringing feature that lets subscribers enter up to five phone numbers to ring in sequence. The service is configurable by number of rings that will be attempte before the next number is tried.
Simultaneous Ringing on Multiple Phone Numbers - Packet 8 users can configure this feature to allow for ringing on an unlimited number of Packet 8 plus traditional phone lines.

7-Digit Local Dialing
- In most cases, Packet 8 subscribers need only dial their seven-digit local number to connect to a local line. Of course if the local number is 10-digit (3-digit area code plus the number), they will need to dial those ten digits.
Network Unavailable Forwarding - If the Packet 8 network goes down, incoming calls can be forwarded to another number.

Call Waiting Disable - This is Packer8's version of the long-used *70 call-waiting block feature offered by traditional phone companies. This feature can also be deactivated on Packet8 subscriber's account details pages.
