Newly merged division Psion Teklogix to focus on emerging mobile data industry
SINGAPORE - Psion PLC and
Teklogix International Inc. have announced the successful completion of the
acquisition of Teklogix by Psion. Teklogix will merge with Psion PLC's industrial
handheld division, Psion Enterprise Computing, to create a new Psion product
division, Psion Teklogix.
The new division will be based in Mississauga, Ontario and will be led by former
Teklogix President and CEO, Ian McElroyand will be the largest division of Psion
Psion has a history of producing digital products such as the Psion Revo handheld
device, while Teklogix is a provider of wireless data communications systems,
and helps to develop real-time logistics solutions for the industrial space.
