Rise of the iPad DJ (updated)

Another iPad DJ app is coming to the App Store and this one's a scratching specialist.
Written by Jason D. O'Grady, Contributor on

Shortly after writing about a great looking iPad DJ app called mixr I received this screenshot of another promising iPad app for DJs, Flare Scratch. The name isn't final but it's believed to be the successor to the popular DJ scratching app, Flare, (which I reviewed on December 15, 2009) for the iPad. The iPad version of the app has two turntables versus the iPhone's single deck. I hear that the GM build was submitted and approved, so the app should be available some time on Saturday. No word on the full feature set but it sure looks good to me.

Update: CreateDigitalMusic has posted a full rundown of some of the amazing music apps that are coming to iPad
