Cybersecurity company Science Applications International Corporation and McAfee have announced anti-cyber espionage products aimed at intelligence agencies, governments, and telecommunications carriers.

Science Applications International Corporation (Saic) said that it will integrate McAfee security technology into its flagship deep packet inspection and content processing products.

"Our products are purpose built for some of the most secure networks in the world," Saic chief information officer Charles Beard told ZDNet UK on Tuesday.

McAfee will integrate its Network Threat Response malware analysis technology into Saic's CloudShield BladeCenter deep packet inspection technology. McAfee Network Threat Response is designed to capture and analyse malware. In addition, McAfee's Firewall Enterprise product will be built into software that is supported on Saic's CS4000 modular chassis. The Saic CS4000 is designed for content-processing.

McAfee and Saic already have an existing business relationship. The companies intend to work together in the future, said Beard.

"Our next generation hardware will be reinforced by McAfee products sets," said Beard. "Saic has the capacity to provide services for McAfee."

Saic is planning to expand its product sets for the healthcare and energy sectors, Beard added.
