Samsung has tweeted a teaser for an April event, telling us to "Kapture the Moment," suggesting the release of a new camera-based gadget.

The South Korean firm tweeted a message through its Media account announcing the media event, due to take place in Singapore at the end of the month.

The "Kapture the Moment" slogan may be referring to rumors concerning a Galaxy S4 sequel, which may be named simply the K Zoom or Galaxy S5 Zoom. SamMobile published leaked images reportedly of Samsung's new device last week, and according to the publication, the Samsung Galaxy S5 Zoom will feature a 4.8-inch HD display, a quad-core ARM Mali-T624 GPU, 2GB RAM and will be powered by Android 4.4.2 KitKat. It will also use the Samsung-designed Exynos 5260 hexa-core processor and ARM's big.LITTLE HMP technology -- including two 1.7GHz Cortex-A15 cores and four 1.3GHz Cortex-A7 cores.

In terms of camera features, the S5 Zoom is expected to have a 20.2 megapixel (5184×3888) camera sensor with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS), Xenon Flash, a 10x optical zoom, and a 2.1 megapixel (1920×1080) front facing camera. In addition, the gadget will support a MicroSD slot for additional storage.

Finally, the Samsung Galaxy S5 Zoom is believed to have passed through U.S. Federal Communications Commission (FCC) regulation, which states the product identifier as SM-C115 and that the device will support both NFC and LTE connectivity.

If this S5 Zoom leaked photo is valid, it will be less than a year after the release of the S4 Zoom, and things seem to have slimmed down.

The Media Day will be held on April 29 in Singapore.
