SAP gets into the sustainability act with new management dashboard
SAP adds sustainability management software that integrates tightly with existing enterprise applications.
Forget spreadsheets for tracking greenhouse gases, some new software from SAP sucks appropriate data right out of your basic enterprise applications and uses it in a corporate sustainability dashboard. The software, called SAP BusinessObjects Sustainability Performance Management, was developed in conjunction with major SAP clients, such as Nestle. So, it has included some key performance indicators that let a company know right away how they're doing against "typical" sustainability performance measures. The new application is available immediately.
