Screenshots of the ACCESS Linux Platform appear at LinuxWorld

LinuxWorld is taking place this week and I just saw an article on PalmInfocenter that linked to the source article on MobileLinuxInfo that shows screenshots from the upcoming ACCESS Linux Platform (ALP). This was the Linux OS that Palm was going to put on their devices, but now it is uncertain since Palm is developing their own Linux OS. The ALP may be coming to other mobile devices and the MobileLinuxInfo article shows an iPhone-like layout at the top of the screen. You can check out even more details at the new ACCESS Linux Platform (ALP) site.

There were a few press releases made at LinuxWorld concerning the ALP, primarily centered around the availability of developer tools. The screenshots look nice and I'll definitely be keeping my eye out for ALP devices in the future.
