Search engine of the day: Diaroogle

When I usually get pitches from the next Google killer my eyes usually glaze over. Show me a search engine that can do something Google can't.

When I usually get pitches from the next Google killer my eyes usually glaze over. Show me a search engine that can do something Google can't.

Well I found something--although it didn't reach me through a pitch. Check out Diaroogle, which may be the best tool any New Yorker could find.

What does Diaroogle do? It finds public toilets in New York City, maps them with Google Maps and gives you a handy review of the facilities. For those of you that happen to wander these concrete canyons you may want to bookmark this site and hook it up to your smartphone.

And Diaroogle's tagline is classic:

It's for the discerning, on-the-go defecator who is brave enough to use a public bathroom, but still demands a hygienic and private bathroom experience. It is also a community authored database of New York toilets.
