As part of the deal, Logica will replace Shell's existing fuel-card platform with a new system based on FleetCor's Global FleetNet card-processing system.
The first pilot of the new platform is due to be completed by April 2012, with the full rollout concluded by the end of 2013.
The new card-processing system is designed to enable Shell to expand its fuel-card services, along with other business improvements.
