Smart electric meters explained

This video does a good job of explaining smart meters that will empower consumers to cut their electricity consumption, save money and be kinder to the environment. In fact, it features CTO Raj Vaswani of Silver Springs Networks, which is one to the Advanced Metering Infrastructure vendors I mentioned in my post about Baltimore Gas & Electric's plan to install two million smart meters.
