Sold. Hayes Europe sold to Zoom

Hayes Europe -- the UK and European arm of modem maker Hayes Corp. --continued to operate after its US parent declared bankruptcy in October. Under pressure from Hayes Corp's creditors, it put its assets up for sale in January.

The deal will give Zoom a ready-made entry into the UK market with the Hayes brand continuing for the near future.
