Sun's software chief heads for Adobe
John Loiacono, the executive vice president for software at Sun, is leaving to join Abobe. He has spent most of his working career, nearly 20 years, at Sun, including stints as senior vice president of Sun's operating platforms group and chief marketing officer.
Update: Loiacano will head up Adobe's Creative Solutions business unit--Creative Suite and the Studio 8 product line (Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Flash Pro, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, etc.
