Originally planned for this month, Visual Café lets developers use components built with the Java Beans open application programmer interface (API).

Symantec plans to follow up with Visual Café Pro for Windows (£479 + VAT list), supplementing the core program with database development tools. The software will be available within a month of the Visual Café release.
